Collect: Gracious Father, who commands us to be persistent in prayers.  Teach us to humble ourselves in your sight and to recognise our own faults that we may have your  help in conquering them, and that we may turn to  you as little children turn to their parents.  This we ask in the name of Yeshua haMoshiach who lives and reigns with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting.

24 September: God, our Provider, we pray for the servants of your church who are working in very difficult circumstances right now. We pray that you will remember them for we know that when you remember, you provide. Through Yeshua HaMoshiach. Amen.

25 September:  Father, as you raised up Sergius to inspire the Russian people in their faith, grant that we like his monks would seek to serve our neighbours that they too would come to know you as Lord and Saviour, who lives and reigns with Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting.  Amen.  (white)

Yom Kippur:  Heavenly Father, as we remember the day of atonement which prefigured Messiah’s death on the cross.  Separate our sins as far from us as the east is from the west, and grant that we may enter into the holy place where you now rein, one God, in glory everlasting.  (Lenten array or violet)

27 September:  Creator God, this good world has seen much suffering and your people have endured much pain. Come and bless the people of Libya, Syria, and Egypt now in the midst of their pain. For the sake of Yeshua. Amen.

28 September:  Dear God, we are so busy just making ends meet or trying to get further ahead. Help us to slow down so that we may recognize your presence in new ways and hear your voice of calm again. Through Yeshua HaMoshiach. Amen.

29 September: Dear Lord, as you created a vast order of angelic hosts to worship you and do your will, grant that we too like your angels in heavens would worship you and do your will.  This we ask in the name of our blessed Yeshuah who is higher than the angels.  Amen.
