14 October 2012

My apologies for the lack of readings last week.  Too many things to do.

Torah: Deuteronomy 16:1-17:13

Prophet: Malachi  3:6-12

Writing: Wisdom of Solomon 18:1-25

Psalm:
Epistle: Galatians 6

Gospel: Luke 19:41-20:17

Collect: Gracious Father, who gives us many gifts to build the kingdom.  Help us not to bury our treasure and talents, but to use them in such a way that your kingdom is advanced.  This we ask in the name of Yeshuah haMoshiach who lives and reigns with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting.

8 October:  Compassionate God, we are but lowly sinners who deserve nothing. Nevertheless, you forgive our sins when we come to you through Yeshua. You give us your grace and allow us to start anew. This we ask through our Lord and Saviour Yeshua haMoshiach, who lives and reins with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting.  Amen.

9 October:  Omnipresent God, you are in the sound of the rain, the smell of the woods, the light at dawn. We feel your presence here on earth and we long to dance with you in heaven. May we take care of each other here, Lord, until you take us home to be with you. This we ask through our Lord and Saviour Yeshua haMoshiach, who lives and reins with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting.  Amen.

10 October:  O Lord, you are fair and just and we desire to know you deeply. You are deserving of all our honor and praise. We bow before you, submitting ourselves to your will. Choose us Lord, use us Lord. This we ask through our Lord and Saviour Yeshua haMoshiach, who lives and reins with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting.  Amen.

11 October:  Gracious Father, you gave Phillip boldness to preach the Gospel with grace to Jews and Gentiles.  Grant us boldness, like him to preach the Gospel boldly where ever you may take us.  This we ask through Yeshuah haMoshiach who lives and reigns with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting.  Amen. 12 October:  Dearest Lord, your human death brought us heavenly life. You freed us from the bonds of sin. Only through you can we hope to be with our Father, God, in his kingdom above. Praise be your name. Amen.

13 October:  Everlasting God, our lives are insignificant when measured by all of your creation, yet you chose to breathe life into us and allow us to know the wonders of your love. May we live each day for you, until we meet you in heaven. This we ask through our Lord and Saviour Yeshua haMoshiach, who lives and reins with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting.  Amen.
