Gracious Father, you are always ready to forgive us.  Help us to see the true state we are in that we may repent and come to you for forgiveness, that we may join you in the banquet which you have prepared for all who serve you.  This we ask in the name of Yeshua haMoshiach, who lives and reins with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory  everlasting.

12 August:  Father, as you raised up Clare to serve you and your church, raise up in this and every generation men and women who will learn truly to put aside the things of this world and serve you truly, this we ask though him who gave up his glory for us, your son, our Lord Yeshuah haMoshiach.  Amen.  (white) (transferred from Sunday)

13 August:  Precious Yeshua, even when we act with the smallest amount of faith you hear and respond to our call and make the possible into the seemingly impossible from our human perspective. We are awed by your presence with us. Amen.

14 August:  Holy One, we come to you imperfect and in need of your saving love and grace. We pray that you will breathe into us your Holy Spirit that alone can cleanse and renew us. In Yeshua' name we pray and live eternally.  Amen.

15 August:  Heavenly Father, you raised up Miriam to be the Theotokous, the mother of our Lord Yeshuah haMoshiach, grant that we like her may say, “be it unto me according to your word,” and to obey her instructions, “do whatever he tells you to do.  In the name of her son, Yeshuah, we pray.  Amen.   (blue)

16 August:  All-knowing Spirit, you have given us eyes to see your wonders as well as the needs of this world. We have ears to hear your call to be mindful and respectful of both. May we honor and serve you with our whole selves. In the way of Yeshua. Amen.

17 August:  Sustainer God, often we fail to remember that you provide for all our needs. There is nothing so insignificant that it escapes your notice. We humbly praise and thank you for your gracious care. Multiply our faith as you did loaves and fishes. In Yeshua' name. Amen.

Psalm:  107
Epistle:  Romans 4:1-12

Collect of the Day:  :  Gracious Father, your Son Yeshua wept for Jerusalem and its sins.  So open up our hearts and minds to the power of the Holy Spirit that we would enter through the narrow gate that leads to life.  This we ask in the name of Yeshua haMoshiach, who lives and reins with you in glory everlasting.  Amen.

5 August Great Physician, we remember those ill in body or spirit. Use us to minister to those in need. We ask for pardon, cleansing, and healing. Help us to understand the great paradox of your strikes and healing nature so we may see the recovery of your power. This we ask through our Lord and Saviour Yeshua haMoshiach, who lives and reins with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting.  Amen.

6 August:  Lord, you raised up your servant Dominic to preach and encourage others to teach the true faith.  Help us and all your church seek always the truth, which is Yeshuah haMoshiach, who lives and reigns with you and Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting.  Amen.  (white)

7 August:  Loving God, how awesome that you call on your hosts of angels to gather us to you. Your angels sing your praise as we listen with renewed faith.  Our finite human words can scarcely profess the depth of our thanks and praise. In Yeshua' name. Amen.

8 August:   El Shaddai, God of all nations, people, kindred, and tongue, we thank you for the freedom we have in Yeshua HaMoshiach. We pray for those in our world who have not yet experienced the deliverance which comes from knowing you. May your liberating grace reach every heart this day. Amen.

9 August:  Lamb of God, as a people called into being for you may we declare your good news and shine as your light in this place we call home. Thank you for the shelter you give us in your love. Amen.

10 August:  Father, you raised up your deacon Laurence to serve you through acts of love, and fearsome martyrdom.  Help us that we would always remember that the true treasures of the church are those who need to hear the word of God, this we ask through Yeshuah haMoshiach, who lives and reins with you and Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting, Amen.  (red)
