Fifth Sunday of Easer: 24 May 2011

Torah: Leviticus 17:10-18:30
Prophet: Ezekiel 42:1-43:27
Writing: Job 36:1-37:24
Psalm: 18
For the Epistle: Acts 18:1-28
Gospel: Luke 15:1-10
Collect: Risen Lord, who is known to us in the breaking of the bread. Remind us day by day to manifest your kingdom, that all peoples may see you in us. This we ask in the name of Yeshuach haMoshiach who lives and reigns with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting. Amen.

Monday: Lamb of God, as a people called into being for you may we declare your good news and shine as your light in this place we call home. Thank you for the shelter you give us in your love. Amen.

Tuesday: Living Lord, we celebrate your defeat of death and victory over the
grave. Our faith in you assures us that if we experience a death like yours, we will
also experience a resurrection like yours. In you we put our trust and hope. Amen.

Wednesday: May the Holy Spirit keep us ever mindful that our views are not always as God's views. Help us to have the patience to listen to his will and trust in his ways. In this, we shall become his patient children. Amen.

Thursday: Grant heavenly Father, that we who celebrate with joy the day of the Lord's resurrection now go out into the world and do his will. The Lord is risen indeed! Let us glorify his name! Amen

Friday: Holy Spirit, you have called us to be authentic witnesses to our world of your love through Yeshua. We confess that we have failed, bearing witness instead to our divisiveness and indifference to your calling. Forgive us, and transform our lives to bear your fruit. Amen.

Saturday: Lamb of God, as a people called into being for you may we declare your good news and shine as your light in this place we call home. Thank you for the shelter you give us in your love. Amen.

Good Sheapher Sunday: 15 May 2011

Torah: Leviticus 16:1-17:9
Prophet: Ezekiel 40:47-41:26
Writing: Job 35:1-16
Psalm: 23
For the Epistle: Acts 17:16-34
Gospel: Luke 15:1-10
Collect: Glorious Father, you sent your Son to be the Good Shepherd of your people. Through the help of your Spirit, grant that we may hear your Son's voice, without distraction, especially when he calls us by name, so that we may always follow where he leads. We ask this through your Son, Christ Jesus our risen Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Monday: Heavenly Father, you cleansed the lips of Isaiah and raised him up to be a witness to the suffering servant and to help us to recognise the suffering servant. Remind us daily, since we are called by your name, that we are yours, and that we should daily remind those around us of your mighty deeds. Send us Lord into the world to proclaim that Messiah has come to save sinners. This we ask through Yeshua haMoshiach who lives and reigns with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting. Amen (red)

Tuesday: Heavenly Father, you raised up Ludwig Count Zinzendorf to build up your church and to send out missionaries. Grant that, like Ludwig, we would love you not just with our minds, but with our hearts as well, seeking to build your kingdom with the tools and position you have given each of us. Remind us daily that we live not for ourselves, but for you. This we ask in the name of our Lord and Saviour, Yeshuah ha Moshiach. Amen.

Wednesday: Dear Lord, you granted to Dame Juilian visions of unspeakable things and gave her a grace to guide others in their spiritual lives. Raise up in this and every generation people who are willing to share their gifts and build up others in the spiritual life. This we ask through Yeshuah haMoshiach, who lives and reigns with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting. Amen. (white)

Thursday: Help us, Lord Yeshua, to live the risen life with you while we are still on earth. Make our faith in you such a reality that salvation is made manifest through our lives. May we act, forgive, love, and redeem in ways that reflect your way and your will. Amen.

Friday: Lord, have mercy on us and grant us your shalom. Shalom within our families, shalom with our neighbors, and shalom in our hearts so we may live in your love. Through Yeshua HaMoshiach, our Lord. Amen.

Saturday: O Lord, we are thankful that you have chosen us, strengthened us, and led us through times of difficulty. May our lives reflect your glory, your wisdom, and your truth. Hear us, gracious Savior. Amen
