Prophet: Micah 6:6-8
Writing: Ecclesiasticus 2:1-11
Psalm: 37
Epistle: Eph 1:11-23

Collect: Heavenly Father, you have raised up Saints in every generation to show us the way to you, and to demonstrate holiness of life. So reign in our hearts and of those baptised this day, that we too would join in the fullness of the communion of saints. This we ask through Yeshua haMoshiach who lives and reins with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting. Amen.

31 October: Heavenly Father, on this day Martin Luther nailed his theses to the door of the Wittenberg Cathedral, not to challenge the church, but to transform it into a true body for mission. Grant us zeal in reforming the church and translating scripture and liturgy so all may understand your word, and be enabled for mission to the entire world. This we ask in the name of our Lord Yeshuah. Amen. (white)

1 November: Blessed God, you have raised up saints in every generation to be lights for us to show us that we too can imitate Messiah. So govern our hearts, that as we remember the heroes of the church, that we follow their example and live for you. This we ask in the name of Yeshuah who lives and reins with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God, surrounded by saints and all the company of heaven. Amen. (white)

2 November: Blessed Father, you are the Lord of the Living, and all the faithful are alive to you. Bless us with the memories of our loved ones who have gone on before us, that we following their examples may find a mansion prepared for us by our Lord Yeshua. This we ask in his most precious name. Amen. (white)

3 November: Heavenly Father, you gave your presbyter Richard Hooker wonderful gifts of understanding and teaching; raise up in this and every generation men who would teach us the true faith, and help us with Richard to remember that all things are to be measured by scripture, and where scripture is silent we are to follow the traditions of the church, and where both are silent, we are to use our reason based on the witness of scripture and tradition. This we ask through Yeshuah, who lives and reins with you and Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting. Amen. (white)

4 November: Gracious Lord, pardon us from our disobedience and self-centered will. Bend us to kneel before your holy presence and obey you so we may conform to "a life worthy of our calling to which we have been called..." (Ephesians 4:1-2). This we ask through our Lord and Saviour Yeshua haMoshiach, who lives and reins with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting. Amen.

5 November: O God, our Father, we confess that we have depended on our own foolishness and unwise choices. We have listened to the wrong voices which tend to please our ears. Turn us back toward that which is true and right in you so we may proclaim your power and wisdom. This we ask through our Lord and Saviour Yeshua haMoshiach, who lives and reins with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting. Amen.
