Prophet: Ezekiel 2:1-3:27
Writing: Proverbs 17:1-28
Psalm: Psalm 119:137-144
Epistle: Hebrews 12:13-29
Gospel: John 4:4-42
Collect: Gracious Father, your Son Yeshua wept for Jerusalem and its sins. So open up our hearts and minds to the power of the Holy Spirit that we would enter through the narrow gate that leads to life. This we ask in the name of Yeshua haMoshiach, who lives and reins with you in glory everlasting. Amen.

9 August: Lamb of God, as a people called into being for you may we declare your good news and shine as your light in this place we call home. Thank you for the shelter you give us in your love. Amen.

10 August: Father, you raised up your deacon Laurence to serve you through acts of love, and fearsome martyrdom. Help us that we would always remember that the true treasures of the church are those who need to hear the word of God, this we ask through Yeshuah haMoshiach, who lives and reins with you and Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting, Amen. (red)

11 August: Father, as you raised up Clare to serve you and your church, raise up in this and every generation men and women who will learn truly to put aside the things of this world and serve you truly, this we ask though him who gave up his glory for us, your son, our Lord Yeshuah haMoshiach. Amen. (white)

12 August: Our Creator, the voices of the Old Testament prophets speak loudly to us in our day. You direct us to love mercy, to do justice, and to walk humbly with you. May we faithfully respond to your call. In your enduring name. Amen.

13 August: Precious Yeshua, even when we act with the smallest amount of faith you hear and respond to our call and make the possible into the seemingly impossible from our human perspective. We are awed by your presence with us. Amen.

14 August: Holy One, we come to you imperfect and in need of your saving love and grace. We pray that you will breathe into us your Holy Spirit that alone can cleanse and renew us. In Yeshua' name we pray and live eternally. Amen.
