Trinity Sunday: 30 May 2010

Torah: Exodus 3:1-16
Prophet: Isaiah 6:1-8
Writing: Proverbs 8:22-31
Psalm: 93
Epistle: Romans 8:12-17
Gospel: Mathew 28:16-20
Collect: Almighty Triune God, your name is veiled in mystery; yet, we dare to call you Father. Your Son was begotten before all ages; yet, he was born among us in time. Your Spirit fills your whole creation; yet you pour forth that same Spirit into the hearts of your adopted sons and daughters. As you have created, called, and loved us by name, draw us ever more deeply into the mystery of your divine life, that we may glorify you rightly through your Son, our Lord Yeshua haMoshiach, who lives and reigns with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God, now and forever. Amen.

24 May: Everlasting God, prepare our hearts, our homes, and our lives for your coming. You are the King of all glory, strong and mighty, and we welcome your reign upon your creation. May we devote our lives to serving you, this day and always. This we ask through Yeshua haMoshiach who lives and reigns with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting. Amen.

25 May: Dear Lord, you gave the venerable Bede great gifts in writing and preserving the life of the early English church. Raise up in this and every generation men and women who can show how His Story is the true history of the world. This we ask through Yeshua haMoshiach who lives and reigns with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting. Amen. (white)

26 May: Dear Lord, as you raised up Augustine to be first Archbishop of Canterbury, so guide us that we many learn from his good deeds and his mistakes how to proclaim the Gospel to an unbelieving world, and how to work with Christians of other traditions. This we ask though Yeshua haMoshiach, who lives and reins with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting. Amen. (white)

27 May: We thank you this day, O Lord, for all those who accepted your promise
of salvation, heard your call, and risked all to follow in your foot-steps. Be with all those this day who are enduring hardship, affliction, and calamity. Strengthen them with your spirit. This we ask through Yeshua haMoshiach who lives and reigns with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting. Amen.

28 May Loving God, we thank you for your gracious call, and we thank you that you bring us together as your family. Help us to continue to respond to your calling, and may we be worthy to be called your children. In a spirit of gratitude and love we pray. Amen.

29 May Steadfast Lord, you alone are holy and merciful, the one true God. The gods of this world are unsatisfying, and we turn to you for our strength, comfort, and guidance. Our faith abides in you as you fill us with your peace. This we ask through Yeshua haMoshiach who lives and reigns with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting. Amen.
