3 May: Dear Lord, you raised up Athanasius to stand for the holy Catholic faith. Raise up for us fearless Bishops who will stand up for the truth, not matter what the consequences. 4 May: Father, you gave Monica the spiritual gifts to persevere in prayer for the conversion of her husband and son. Grant that we may so persevere in our prayers as to draw nearer to you each day. 5 May: Creator and Sustainer of the universe, you made all things in your
wisdom. O God, you indicated to all of us that you are the "I Am, who
Am." You have always protected your people. You saved steadfast Noah and
his family from the flood. Give us courage and strength to be always
willing and ready to walk uprightly before you. Through Christ, in whom
we have redemption and forgiveness for our sins. Amen.


6 May: God of Creation, in all our imagination, we struggle to see a world at peace. Hunger, homelessness, war, and disaster have come between us and your intent for creation. May your power for peace come to dwell in our hearts and lives. This we ask through Yeshua haMoshiach who lives and reigns with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting. Amen.

7 May: Holy Father, the noise around us tends to drown out the voice of the
Holy Spirit you've sent to guide and comfort us. Make us sensitive to
your calling, as we take moments from the hustles and tussles of life to
listen to you. Beloved Friend, create in us a clean heart and renew a
right spirit within us. This we ask through Yeshua haMoshiach who lives and reigns with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting. Amen.

8 May: Dear Lord, you granted to Dame Julian visions of unspeakable things and gave her a grace to guide others in their spiritual lives. Raise up in this and every generation people who are willing to share their gifts and build up others in the spiritual life.
