Torah: Deuteronomy 16:1-17
Prophet: Isaiah 42:1-9
Writing: II Chronicles 12:1-17
Psalm: 89
Epistle: I Corinthians 10:1-22
Gospel: Mt. 3:13-17
Collect: Blessed Saviour, you were without sin, yet were baptised by John as an example for us. Through faith in you and through our baptisms, we died to sin, were raised to new life, and given the gift of the Ruach haKodesh to guide us. Remind us daily and infuse us with the Ruach haKodesh, that we must be examples to believers and non-believers that our lives would gather much fruit, new Christians dedicated to your service. This we ask in the name of our Lord and Saviour Yeshua haMoshiach, who lives and reins with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting.

12 January: Father, as you taught Aelred the importance of friendship, teach us that we would be loyal, discrete, patient, and with right intentions to those around us, that we may all reflect your glory. This we ask in the name of Yeshua, who lives and reins with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting. Amen. (white)

13 January: Dear Lord, as Hillary of Poitiers stood against heresy, and defended the true faith, help us also to stand against heresy that we may always stand for truth. This we ask through Yeshua haMoshiach who lives and reins with you and Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting. Amen. (white)

14 January: Glorious God, let the words on our lips and the song in our hearts reflect our gratitude and devotion to you for all we hear and see of your amazing grace and constant love. This we ask through Yeshua haMoshiach who lives and reigns with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting. Amen.

15 January: Messiah our teacher, gentle and humble in heart, help us relate trusting obedience to loving service. May we truly find rest for our souls under the yoke that is easy and the burden that is light. This we ask through Yeshua haMoshiach who lives and reigns with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting. Amen.

16 January: The turning you ask of us, righteous Judge, is away from sin, evil, and selfishness toward the source of goodness and light. Let it also bethrough us a returning and a sharing of the love you give. This we ask through Yeshua haMoshiach who lives and reigns with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting. Amen.

17 January: Dear Lord, you raised up Anthony to be a shining light in the desert, encouraging those suffering persecution, and strengthening those tempted by Aryanism, so raise up in this and every generation encouragers to strengthen us in true doctrine. This we ask in the name of Yeshua haMoshiach, who lives and reigns with you and Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting. Amen. (white)
