Prophet:  Zechariah 12:1-13:9
Writing:  Wisdom of Solomon 8:1-21
Psalm: 19
Epistle:  Galatians 2:1-21
Gospel:  John 17:1-26

Collect: Gracious Father, you are always ready to forgive us.  Help us to see the true state we are in that we may repent and come to you for forgiveness, that we may join you in the banquet which you have prepared for all who serve you.  This we ask in the name of Yeshua haMoshiach, who lives and reins with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory  everlasting.

20 August:  Dear Lord, you gave Bernard of Clairvaux gifts of preaching and teaching to build up the church.  Grant in this and every age men and women who would call the world to follow you in love and understanding.   This we ask through Yeshuah haMoshiach, who lives and reigns with you in glory everlasting.  Amen.  (white)

21 August:  Great God, Lord, and Spirit, you are present for us in all terms of eternity: from the ancient past, this contemporary age, and the mysteries of the future. There is such hope in your constancy. May we walk in your way in our time in order to honor and share our experience of you. In HaMoshiach. Amen.

22 August:  Righteous Lord and Savior, how humbled and grateful we are for your perfect, loving care. You do not leave us alone. May we respond to your grace by serving you with our best gifts. In Yeshua we live and have our being. Amen.

23 August: God of Justice, may we be filled with the passion of your Spirit in order to be your caretakers. We can be so blind to the needs that surround us. Open our hearts to who you want us to be and what you would have us to do. In HaMoshiach's ministry. Amen.

24 August:  Father, you gave Bartholomew the grace to travel and die for his Lord Yeshuah, grant that we may persevere through the end that we representing Yeshuah here on earth would truly make him known.  This we ask through our Lord and Saviour Yeshua haMoshiach, who lives and reins with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting.  Amen.  (white)

25 August:  Protective Counselor, thank you for keeping us in your care as we seek to fulfill our call to your service. As humans we are unable to anticipate all that may challenge or keep us from that task. We so appreciate your constant presence with us. In the care of your Spirit. Amen.
