29 October:  Charitable Father, all we have comes from you. You have shown yourself to us and offered us your word, that we may know you, but still we turn away. 30 October:  Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, you have chosen us to live with you forever as children in your image. Guide us to be faithful to you, as we live each moment here on earth and as we patiently await our reward in heaven. 31 October:  Heavenly Father, on this day Martin Luther nailed his theses to the door of the Wittenberg Cathedral, not to challenge the church, but to transform it into a true body for mission.  Grant us zeal in reforming the church and translating scripture and liturgy so all may understand your word, and be enabled for mission to the entire world.  This we ask in the name of our Lord Yeshuah.  Amen.  (white)

1 November:  Blessed God, you have raised up saints in every generation to be lights for us to show us that we too can imitate Messiah.  So govern our hearts, that as we remember the heroes of the church, that we follow their example and live for you.  This we ask in the name of Yeshuah who lives and reins with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God, surrounded by saints and all the company of heaven.  Amen.  (white)

2 November: Blessed Father, you are the Lord of the Living, and all the faithful are alive to you.  Bless us with the memories of our loved ones who have gone on before us, that we following their examples may find a mansion prepared for us by our Lord Yeshua. 3 November:  Heavenly Father, you gave your presbyter Richard Hooker wonderful gifts of understanding and teaching;  raise up in this and every generation men who would teach us the true faith, and help us with Richard to remember that all things are to be measured by scripture, and where scripture is silent we are to follow the traditions of the church, and where both are silent, we are to use our reason based on the witness of scripture and tradition.  This we ask through Yeshuah, who lives and reins with you and Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting.  Amen.  (white)

25 October:  Precious Saviour, how happy we are to know you will relieve us of our

27 October:  Adoring Father, your love for us is beyond our comprehension. We humbly attempt to show our adoration for you. You have kept your promises; forgive us our lies. Teach us how to love you and how to worship you so that we may be saved. Amen.

16 October:  Gentle Yeshua, give us the courage to reach out to touch the hand of a stranger or our neighbor, to show them the love you have for us all. 17 October:  Heavenly Father, as you raised up your servant Ignatius to be Bishop of Antioch and to suffer and die for his faith.  Grant that we may gather more frequently to celebrate the Eucharist, sharing the medicine of immortality, and that we would follow the bishop, as Jesus followed the Father, follow the presbytery as we would follow the apostles, and respect the deacons as we respect God’s law.  This we ask through our Lord and Saviour Yeshua haMoshiach, who lives and reins with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting.  Amen.  (red)

18 October:  Almighty Healer, we are woven as part of your wondrous being, and you inspired your servant Luke to set down your life and tell of your healing love.   We are so grateful for the loving care you provide through the nurture of our bodies, minds, and souls in order that we can be for you in this world.  This we ask in the name of our blessed Saviour who healed the sick, raised the dead and proclaimed liberty to the captives.  Amen.  (red)

19 October:  Healing Lord, we come to you in sickness, despair, and with worries on our hearts. Thank you for allowing us to lay our fears and sins at your feet, knowing you will calm us and show us your mercy. Amen.

20 October:  Our pockets may be lined with riches, our homes filled with treasures, but without your blessings, Lord, we have nothing. You are our provider and protector. Only by your grace and your love will we prosper. Amen.

8 October:  Compassionate God, we are but lowly sinners who deserve nothing. Nevertheless, you forgive our sins when we come to you through Yeshua. You give us your grace and allow us to start anew. 9 October:  Omnipresent God, you are in the sound of the rain, the smell of the woods, the light at dawn. We feel your presence here on earth and we long to dance with you in heaven. May we take care of each other here, Lord, until you take us home to be with you. 10 October:  O Lord, you are fair and just and we desire to know you deeply. You are deserving of all our honor and praise. We bow before you, submitting ourselves to your will. 11 October:  Gracious Father, you gave Phillip boldness to preach the Gospel with grace to Jews and Gentiles.  Grant us boldness, like him to preach the Gospel boldly where ever you may take us.  This we ask through Yeshuah haMoshiach who lives and reigns with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting.  Amen. 12 October:  Dearest Lord, your human death brought us heavenly life. You freed us from the bonds of sin. Only through you can we hope to be with our Father, God, in his kingdom above. Praise be your name. Amen.

13 October:  Everlasting God, our lives are insignificant when measured by all of your creation, yet you chose to breathe life into us and allow us to know the wonders of your love. May we live each day for you, until we meet you in heaven. 24 September: God, our Provider, we pray for the servants of your church who are working in very difficult circumstances right now. We pray that you will remember them for we know that when you remember, you provide. Through Yeshua HaMoshiach. Amen.

25 September:  Father, as you raised up Sergius to inspire the Russian people in their faith, grant that we like his monks would seek to serve our neighbours that they too would come to know you as Lord and Saviour, who lives and reigns with Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting.  Amen.  (white)


Yom Kippur:  Heavenly Father, as we remember the day of atonement which prefigured Messiah’s death on the cross.  Separate our sins as far from us as the east is from the west, and grant that we may enter into the holy place where you now rein, one God, in glory everlasting.  (Lenten array or violet)
 

27 September:  Creator God, this good world has seen much suffering and your people have endured much pain. Come and bless the people of Libya, Syria, and Egypt now in the midst of their pain. For the sake of Yeshua. Amen.

28 September:  Dear God, we are so busy just making ends meet or trying to get further ahead. Help us to slow down so that we may recognize your presence in new ways and hear your voice of calm again. Through Yeshua HaMoshiach. Amen.

29 September: Dear Lord, as you created a vast order of angelic hosts to worship you and do your will, grant that we too like your angels in heavens would worship you and do your will.  This we ask in the name of our blessed Yeshuah who is higher than the angels.  Amen.

18 September:  Good Shepherd, we pray for any home where a child has gone astray. Meet his or her need and help that child to hear your voice of love and to see your hand of mercy so that he or she may return safely. In the loving name of Yeshua. Amen.

19 September:  Heavenly Father, you sent Theodore to organize and put right the church of England and to reconcile the church of the English with the Church of the Celts.  Raise up among us, clergy and laity, who will help organise the church today so that it would be an effective means of evangelising the world in which we live.  This we ask in the name of Yeshua, who lives and reigns with you and Ruach ha Kodesh, one God in Glory everlasting.  Amen.  (white)

20 September:  Creator God, by your will, families, communities, and nations come into being. Reveal yourself this day and remind us that we are not our own. Give us the spirit of humility to claim you alone as our helper and Lord. For Yeshua' sake. Amen.

21 September:  Dear Father, as you raised Mathew from being a tax collector to an ambassador for your kingdom, and caused him to write his Gospel for the Messianic Jews of his time; so transform us that our lives would lead to the conversion of many and help us to remember that our lives may be the only Bible unbelievers will read.  This we ask through Yeshuah, who lives and reigns with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting.  Amen.  (red)

22 September:  Gracious Lord, when we find ourselves in wilderness places, tempted and tried, we sometimes lose our way. Give us grace to wait on you with the assurance that you will send your angels to sustain us. In Yeshua' name. Amen.

10 September:  Light of the world, shine down on us this day and open our eyes to the
needs of those around us. Grant us the desire to work for you bringing your hope to those around us. Amen.

11 September:  Lord, we pray for our children and young people who will be tempted to deny you at school and elsewhere as some of their friends do. Please strengthen them as they, like us, have no good apart from you. In Yeshua' name. Amen.

12 September:  Holy Spirit, come and be with us and lift us up. Open our minds to receive the message of God's love. Guide us and set us free to do your will. 13 September:  Father, you raised up Cyprian to be bishop of Carthage, and gave him gifts to administer and guide his church during time of great persecution.  Grant that we may like him encourage others to follow the true faith, and like him be prepared to give up our lives for you.  This we ask through our Lord and Saviour Yeshua haMoshiach, who lives and reins with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting.  Amen.  (red)
