Epistle: Acts 2:14-41
Gospel: Luke 24:13-35
Dear Lord, you
manifested yourself through signs and miracles and commanded us to do the
same. So fill your church with your
spirit that we truly would reach out to the world with mighty acts of power that many would
come to know you as the risen Lord and Saviour.
This we ask trough Yeshua ha Moshiach, who lives and reigns with you and
the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting. Amen.
(white)
Monday: Help us, Lord Yeshua, to live the risen life
with you while we are still on earth. Make our faith in you such a reality that
salvation is made manifest through our lives. May we act, forgive, love, and
redeem in ways that reflect your way and your will. Amen.
9 April: Gracious Father, you raised up Dietrich
Bonhoeffer to challenge evil government and its actions, and gave him strength
to leave his refuge in London
and to take action. Help us that
following the example of Dietrich, Yeshua and many others, we may not be people
of just words, but action as well, not fearing for our lives, but seeking your
kingdom. This we ask through Yeshua
haMoshiach our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one
God in glory everlasting. Amen. (red)
Wednesday: May the Holy Spirit keep us ever mindful that
our views are not always as God's views. Help us to have the patience to listen
to his will and trust in his ways. In this, we shall become his patient
children. Amen.
Thursday: Grant heavenly Father, that we who celebrate
with joy the day of the Lord's resurrection now go out into the world and do
his will. The Lord is risen indeed! Let us glorify his name! Amen
Friday: Forgive us, O Lord, for neglecting to pray for
one another and especially for those who suffer from illness of the body and
pain of the heart. We would pray this day with righteous intent for all who
seek the peace of HaMoshiach that they may find it. Amen.
Saturday: O Gracious Redeemer, we thank you for the
assurance that despite our wanderings, you will not abandon us. As we gather
for worship today, fill us anew with your spirit and grant us your peace again.
For the glory of your name. Amen.
