Collect: Lord, on the mount of Transfiguration, the glory of the Father truly shone upon you. Let your power so overshadow us, that conquering sin and death in our lives, that we would join you in healing the sick, raising the dead, proclaiming the kingdom. This we ask through Yeshua haMoshiach, who lives and reins with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting. Amen. (gold)
28 February: Gracious Lord, we confess that we are not worthy of your blessings, yet
we are blessed when our hearts truly seek you. We pray for the power of
your Holy Spirit to live as Jesus lived; humble and gentle, patient and
loving. This we ask through Yeshua haMoshiach who lives and reigns with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting. Amen.
March 1: We have referred to you, O God, as a rock, a fortress, a mountain, a sun, and a shield. We try to picture you as a God who is steady, sure and unwavering. Reassure us this day that you are always with us and always will be, to embrace us with unending love. This we ask through Yeshua haMoshiach who lives and reigns with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting. Amen.
March 2: Dear Lord who raised up Chad to be Bishop of Lichtfield, and gave him humility to cheerfully to relinquish his honours. Grant in this and every generation that we would seek only your honour and glory. This we ask through Yeshuah haMoshiach, who livers and reigns with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting. Amen. (white)
March 3: Dear Lord, you gave John and Charles Wesley zeal and gifts of preaching and songwriting. Raise up today preachers who truly are worried for the lost, the poor and the helpless, that we once again would be a community of true faithful proclaiming your word to those whom the world despises. This we ask through Yeshuah haMoshiach, who livers and reigns with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting. Amen. (white)
March 4: O God, we wonder how you have time for us. There is so much else in the vast cosmos of your creation. We realize that your deepest concern and compassion is for us through your scripture. You created and redeemed us to be fruitful children from the inside out. Thank you! Amen.
March 5: O God, there is nothing we hate more than our own suffering. We insulate
ourselves from it by feasting sumptuously every day and ignoring the poor who need our help so dearly. Make us into servants who are willing to help the hungry and the poor. This we ask through Yeshua haMoshiach who lives and reigns with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting. Amen.
