Collect:   Gracious Father, you have blessed us in many ways.   You have given us Moses and the prophets, and raised Jesus from the dead to show us the way.  Grant that we would pay attention so as to follow you to the gates which lead to eternal bliss that we may join with Abraham and all the saints in the banquet with you.  This we ask in the name of Yeshua haMoshiach who lives and reigns with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting.


3 September:  Dear Lord, as the faith in Papua New Guinea was watered by martyrs willing to give up all for you, help us to also be always ready to make that final sacrifice for you, this we ask in the name of him who died for us.  Amen.  (red)  (Transferred from 2 September)



4 September:  Great Giver of All, we remember the young of our congregations and communities who will not get to college without our support. Help us to share with those institutions that provide for their training and development. For Yeshua' sake. Amen.

5 September:  O God of Hope, we remember before you all those whose situations of need cause them to despair. Speak to us anew that we may become the means of
bringing hope to a hopeless and helpless people. In the name of Yeshua.
Amen.

6 September:  Holy God, we confess that we have broken our covenant with you and have not been faithful to our vows with one another. Lead us by your grace to find peace with you and with all of our neighbours. For the sake of Yeshua HaMoshiach our Lord. Amen.

7 September:  Merciful God, use our church family scattered in various places to show forth your praise in all that we do. Let us as individuals build up our
church families. Grant us grace to accept others in their struggles so that they may draw near to you. In the precious name of Yeshua. Amen.

8 September:  Gracious God, we pray that you will draw us all nearer to you. Strengthen the devotion of those who are falling away and inspire anew all those whose doubts burden them. In the matchless name of Yeshua. Amen.

29 August:  Eternal Spirit, your glory is revealed to the youngest and least of your people. May we never believe ourselves so wise that we fail to recognize and acknowledge you and your creation. It is when we seek you that we are truly wise. This we ask through our Lord and Saviour Yeshua haMoshiach, who lives and reins with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting.  Amen. 

30 August:  As the showers of springtime rain down upon the earth, O Lord, may your
love rain down upon us, bringing salvation and renewed faith to our

31 August:  Heavenly Father, you raised up your bishop Aidan to restore Christianity to Northumbria, raise up men and women to restore the faith of the United States and Europe.  This we ask through Yeshuah, who lives and reins with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting.  Amen.  (white)

1 September:  Dear God, as you anointed your Son, Yeshua HaMoshiach, for his mission, we pray for your anointing on all your servants today so that we may bear witness boldly to your love and grace to those for whom they have been praying. In the name of Yeshua. Amen.

20 August:  Dear Lord, you gave Bernard of Clairvaux gifts of preaching and teaching to build up the church.  Grant in this and every age men and women who would call the world to follow you in love and understanding.   This we ask through Yeshuah haMoshiach, who lives and reigns with you in glory everlasting.  Amen.  (white)

21 August:  Great God, Lord, and Spirit, you are present for us in all terms of eternity: from the ancient past, this contemporary age, and the mysteries of the future. There is such hope in your constancy. May we walk in your way in our time in order to honor and share our experience of you. In HaMoshiach. Amen.

22 August:  Righteous Lord and Savior, how humbled and grateful we are for your perfect, loving care. You do not leave us alone. May we respond to your grace by serving you with our best gifts. In Yeshua we live and have our being. Amen.

23 August: God of Justice, may we be filled with the passion of your Spirit in order to be your caretakers. We can be so blind to the needs that surround us. Open our hearts to who you want us to be and what you would have us to do. In HaMoshiach's ministry. Amen.

24 August:  Father, you gave Bartholomew the grace to travel and die for his Lord Yeshuah, grant that we may persevere through the end that we representing Yeshuah here on earth would truly make him known.  This we ask through our Lord and Saviour Yeshua haMoshiach, who lives and reins with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting.  Amen.  (white)

25 August:  Protective Counselor, thank you for keeping us in your care as we seek to fulfill our call to your service. As humans we are unable to anticipate all that may challenge or keep us from that task. We so appreciate your constant presence with us. In the care of your Spirit. Amen.

15 August:  Heavenly Father, you raised up Miriam to be the Theotokous, the mother of our Lord Yeshuah haMoshiach, grant that we like her may say, “be it unto me according to your word,” and to obey her instructions, “do whatever he tells you to do.  In the name of her son, Yeshuah, we pray.  Amen.   (blue)

16 August:  All-knowing Spirit, you have given us eyes to see your wonders as well as the needs of this world. We have ears to hear your call to be mindful and respectful of both. May we honor and serve you with our whole selves. In the way of Yeshua. Amen.

17 August:  Sustainer God, often we fail to remember that you provide for all our needs. There is nothing so insignificant that it escapes your notice. We humbly praise and thank you for your gracious care. Multiply our faith as you did loaves and fishes. In Yeshua' name. Amen.

18 August:  Holy Shepherd, thank you for gathering our hearts and minds back to you in our wanderings. In gratitude for your grace may we share our lives with your people in a way that reflects your enduring love and care, as HaMoshiach's hands and feet. Amen.

6 August:  Lord, you raised up your servant Dominic to preach and encourage others to teach the true faith.  Help us and all your church seek always the truth, which is Yeshuah haMoshiach, who lives and reigns with you and Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting.  Amen.  (white)

7 August:  Loving God, how awesome that you call on your hosts of angels to gather us to you. Your angels sing your praise as we listen with renewed faith.  Our finite human words can scarcely profess the depth of our thanks and praise. In Yeshua' name. Amen.

8 August:   El Shaddai, God of all nations, people, kindred, and tongue, we thank you for the freedom we have in Yeshua HaMoshiach. We pray for those in our world who have not yet experienced the deliverance which comes from knowing you. May your liberating grace reach every heart this day. Amen.

9 August:  Lamb of God, as a people called into being for you may we declare your good news and shine as your light in this place we call home. Thank you for the shelter you give us in your love. Amen.

10 August:  Father, you raised up your deacon Laurence to serve you through acts of love, and fearsome martyrdom.  Help us that we would always remember that the true treasures of the church are those who need to hear the word of God, this we ask through Yeshuah haMoshiach, who lives and reins with you and Ruach haKodesh, one God in glory everlasting, Amen.  (red)

Help us to be faithful servants building up treasures in heaven by serving you through our neighbours here on earth. This we ask in the name of Yeshua haMoshiach, who lives and reigns with you and the Ruach haKodesh, one God, in glory everlasting. Amen 30 July: God of the Covenant, your word inspires us to live in relationship to your call. Help us to follow the example of William Wilberforce, that we may constantly defend the poor, help those with no helper, and seek the kingdom.
